Solar Stone

Solar Stone is comprised of two British DJs; Rich Mowatt and Andy Bury. They mostly produce melodic trance and are signed to Deepblue Records.
Their most famous song is "Seven Cities" which is frequently called one of the seminal works in trance music. 20.000 copies was sold in the first week after it's release in 1999 and it was described as "The best trance record of the last 10 years" by Djmag.
Their song "Solarcoaster", which was released in 2002, was in many ways the follow up to "Seven Cities". It did also become very popular and was featured on DJ Tiësto's album "In Search Of Sunrise 3: Panama".

Among Solar Stone's aliases is "Young Parisians", and under this name they released the tracks "U Write The Rules" -which was featured on DJ Tiësto's "Nyana" album, and "Jump The Next Train", which was featured on Paul Oakenfold's "Creamfields" album.

In October 2006 Solar Stone released the album "Anthology One", which features the cream of original Solar Stone productions, including the club classics "Seven Cities", "3rd Earth" (with Scott Bond), "U Write The Rules" (as Young Parisians), "I Want You" (as Z2) and "Solarcoaster", vocal masterpieces including "Speak In Sympathy" (with Elizabeth Fields), "Like A Waterfall" (with JES Brieden) and "Jump The Next Train" (as Young Parisians feat. Ben Lost).

Solar Stone's music has been featured on almost every major compilation series including "Gatecrasher", "Cream", "Godskitchen", "Ministry Of Sound", "A State Of Trance" and "In Search Of Sunrise". They have also worked with all the famous commercial trance DJs such as DJ Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold and Paul van Dyk to name a few.
