Tiesto is the most consistent Dj I have ever seen. He always puts on sets that move forward with good beat. He rarely takes a bad digression and has exceptional taste in music. His strength is his ability to pick out tracks that redefine good Trance music.
Armin is an amazing producer and owns the best collection of labels. I have also seen Armin stink up the joint with BAD track selection that kills the vibe. I have also seen Armin put on phenomenal sets as well... Hit and miss with Armin. His strength is producing great quality tracks that just sound sweet.
Ferry definitely puts on a good show. I love his bumping beats.
So... I'd pay good money to see all three whenever they're in town, but let's say if they were all in town on the same night in different clubs... I'd go see Tiesto.
Hey some great points there my friend. But Id like to add the fact that Tiesto is more of a party guy, with uplifting music and great melodic tunes. Armin van Buuren is more on the mellowed out type of trance. Which one you enjoy more depends upon whther you need constant noise to entertain you, or if you are mature enough to appreciate the mellowed out version of trance. For example, I have a friend who is big on heavy metal, which is a massive array of screaming and drumming, errr which I dispise with passion. My point is when I introduced my friend to tiesto, he LOVED it and got into trance. Then I played Armin Van Buuren and he takes naps when I play him. However, almost EVERY of my other friends who enjoy trance enjoys Armin as much as I do.
