Subscriptions to comments

Hey you can now subscribe to comments on basically any kind of content on the website. You should see a link "Subscribe to comments" when viewing any kind of content. If you subscribe on something, you will get an email of notification when somebody posts new comment to that content (you will not get email if you are the one who posts a comment, since it doesn't make any sense). Also, if you go to "My account -> Subscriptions" you can set some options there, as well. For example you can subsrcribe to the whole content type, not just particular post. So, if you for example want to just be notified when somebody posts a comment on YOUR profile page, go to your page, and click "Subscribe to comments", down at the bottom, just before comments. Of course, this only applies to registered users, guests do not have these options for subscriptions. Report any wishes/bugs here :) |

Just to tell you guys:
In your email clients make sure that you allow incoming mail from "noreply@tranceplanet.org" to go to your inbox and not to be classified as spam.
This is important because all email notifications (about subscriptions, new freind requests etc...) will come from this email address.... And if it goes to spam folder, you will not see it.
Also, Subscriptions to comments are especially important for people who upload their music to Tranceplanet. You can "Subscribe to comments" on your uploaded music, and every time somebody posts a comment, you will be notified by email. Use this great feature.

once again, I repeat - You have to click on "Subscribe to comments" anywhere where you want to be notified about new comments on that content by email. And make sure you allow mail coming from noreply@tranceplanet.org to go to your inbox... This is very important.
