hi fellows, I like to use reason 3 as my main software. I liked to share opinions with you about your techniques of producing because I also have cubase 5 but I never finded the instruments. Probably I have to import samples it isn't?
I use Cubase and Reason and I believe this is one of the best setups for producing trance music. I find it much more convenient to produce beats in Reason while there are lots of beautiful VST instruments for Cubase. The two apps work in sync using the built-in rewire support.
@salem: Cubase comes with some synth stuff but for trance production there are great VST instruments out there. I personally use & recommend ReFX Vanguard, Spectrasonics Atmosphere and Native Instruments FM7, FM8 and Pro-53.
hi there! im using fl studio 7 and reason 4 together using the fl studio rewire , u know fl studio is more friendly at least 4 me but reason got really good sound :) yeah i tryed q - base but didnt rattle it ))i tryed ableton live too but dont like it honestly i know that armin is using it>
(to na) - Yesterday I start cubase but when I open the instruments panel and write some notes on a midi track the sound isn't from the instruments but from the windows(the usually sound that we listen without instruments). Can you tell me what I have to do to listen the instrument that I select?
I'm using FL Studio 7, sometimes combined with Deckadance if I really nead to be creative. Maybe we could exchange ideas. I've posted some music here, but its not my best, in my opinion, yet people seem to like it. Was more of an accident song.
i use cubase 4 with some great vsts and t racks 3 or izotope ozone 4 for mastering iv used reason and fruty loops but prefere cubase thinkin of tryin abelton as well.
I'm on reason4, still got alot to learn with reason, has a nice layout though, if anyone can give me any advise that wud be great :)x
